• DivorceLink is committed to the protection of your privacy. We aim to ensure that the information you provide us will be handled in a safe, secure, efficient and confidential manner.

What information does DivorceLink collect and store?

• In general, you may be asked to provide personal information which assists us in conducting our business, providing and marketing our services.

• Personal information may include, but is not limited to, name, address and contact details.

How does DivorceLink use and disclose your personal information?

• The personal information we collect is used for the reasons we collected it so as to provide our services to you.

• We may use the information you provide to DivorceLink to send you newsletters outlining our services and events. Our newsletters will also contain instructions as to how you can unsubscribe from our mailing list should you no longer wish to be on it.

• If you do not wish to receive any marketing material from DivorceLink or be entered on our mailing list, please contact Shelley Burns at shelley@divorceink.com.au.

• We will not sell, trade or disclose any of your personal information to any third party without your written consent or unless we are required to do so by law.

Security and accuracy of information

• We will take all reasonable steps to keep your personal information, secure, up to date and accurate. You are encouraged to contact us to update us with your personal information. We will require that you verify your identity and that you specify what information you require.

• The NPP’s require that we take reasonable steps to protect the security of your personal information. DivorceLink staff are required to respect the confidentiality of personal information and the privacy of individuals.

• Should we no longer require your personal information for a permitted purpose under the NPP’s we will take reasonable steps to destroy it.

• DivorceLink has provided relevant links to other sites of interest, however we make no warranties nor representations as to the quality, currency and accuracy of information on any other site to which we have provided a link.

Access and Correction of information about you

• If you have sent your personal information to DivorceLink you are entitled to access that information.

• If you would like access to your personal information please submit your request in writing outlining the documents and information you require.
